Rather than ranking streets as “best,” these are five streets that make up the community and are useful to recognize when researching recent sales and available inventory.

Finch Ave

Finch Ave is an interior street within The Currents and has produced several publicly verifiable resale transactions, making it useful when comparing recent market activity within the tract.

Skylar Ave

Skylar Ave includes newer Currents residences across multiple bedroom configurations and has also produced recent resale activity.

Heron Ave

Heron Ave is another residential street within the community featuring the same recent builder-era housing stock found throughout The Currents.

Dawn St

Dawn St forms part of the neighborhood’s internal street network and connects into the broader Currents layout.

Westwind St

Westwind St sits along the community’s street network near the surrounding Fountain Valley grid.

Schools Serving a Representative Currents Address

For a representative address within The Currents, schools serving the area include:

• Robert Gisler Elementary School — Grades K–5
• Samuel E. Talbert Middle School — Grades 6–8
• Fountain Valley High School — Grades 9–12

Because The Currents is a relatively small and newer community, resale sample sizes are limited. Still, recent verified transactions give us a useful starting point.

A verified five-bedroom resale at 9876 Skylar Ave closed for approximately $2.45 million in October 2025.

Because the verified five-bedroom resale sample is much smaller, I would treat $2.45 million as a recent reference point rather than a statistically meaningful neighborhood average.

What These Numbers Do — and Don’t — Tell You

Bedroom count alone is not enough to value a Currents home. Two properties with the same number of bedrooms can trade differently because of upgrades, lot position, interior condition, square footage, orientation, market timing and buyer competition.
